The Process

Start with the base vehicle

We can convert any VW T5 or later model (SWB or LWB),  VW Crafter or VW Caddy and Caddy Maxi. You provide the van and we will turn it into a campervan!

Transporter Conversion

New U-Shape Seating

The most popular design for a VW Transporter is becoming the u-shape. This layout maximises on space by creating a larger seating area which also turns into a larger bed. You don’t loose much on storage either as you get all the storage under the seats. There is even space for a toilet in this design which can even come with a plinth for extra sitting height. This design uses the same materials as the scandi kitchen we offer which is open birch.

We can convert VW Crafter’s to a specific design (see the Crafters for rental on our website to view the layout or view the 3D model here) but some small adjustments may be possible. Our conversion include the following:

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you only do VW conversions?

Yes, we are specialist converters for VW T5, T6 and T6.1 in SWB (Short-wheelbase) and LWB (Long-wheelbase) formats, Crafters and Caddys.

Do I supply the base van or do you?

You need to supply the base van but we are very happy to check any listing out for you before you buy if you would like our opinion!

How long Does it take to build?

It takes 6 weeks from the van arriving at the factory to it leaving as a converted campervan (10 weeks for Crafters).

When do you have availability?

This changes throughout the year so please enquire.

Do you provide a warranty?

Absolutely. The main component parts such as the bed, roof and fridge have their own individual warranties but we also provide a 12 month warranty on the build itself. 

Can you service the campervan afterwards?

Yes, we provide annual habitation checks and can can conduct repairs on the conversion.

When do I pay?

We take a £500 deposit to book a build slot. We then take a 25% payment 6 weeks before the build slot so that we can buy-in the bespoke items. The remainder balance is due when you drop off the van on the first day of build.

What happens in the initial consultation?

We will take the van details and then go through your configuration. We have all the samples on site for you to put together your perfect combination of kitchen, kitchen top, upholstery and flooring. These come in a range of colors and materials. We can also add any extras to your build at this point. We can then book your buildslot for a £500 deposit.

What is the process?

SCHEDULE YOUR BUILD DATE

Book in your conversion with a £500 deposit. 25% is then due 6 weeks before your build date.

DROP OFF YOUR VAN

Drop off your van with us and pay the remainder balance. Your campervan will be ready for collection 3 weeks later!
